Kitchen Resurfacing
If your cabinet boxes are still in good form and you don’t want to alter your floorplan but you would like to freshen up your kitchen’s appearance there’s really no need to start your renovation from scratch. This would be a bit like bulldozing a house and rebuilding it because the paint had started to peel or fade! By applying a hard-wearing two pac coating to cabinet door fronts, drawer fronts, fixed panels, tiles or countertops we can completely renew the look of your kitchen. In looking at all the options for kitchen renovations Gold Coast families will find resurfacing is one of the best ways to keep costs down on your renovation since you are not wasting money on unnecessary new fittings… See more about kitchen resurfacing

Before and After: This Surfers Paradise penthouse kitchen was resurfaced in gloss white two pac creating a more modern sense glamour

Cabinet Refacing
Refacing with new doors and drawer fronts can be one of the fastest types of kitchen renovations Gold Coast families might want to opt for. Refacing involves removing the old doors and drawer fronts from your kitchen and replacing them with new ones. Fixed panels are either replaced or resurfaced. Cabinets can be refaced with either a new trendy melamine finish or two pac, with this last option giving the ability to incorporate CNC routing to create a shaker or ‘Hampton style’ door profile. We generally recommend kitchen cabinet refacing when cabinet doors are swollen or starting to come apart. It is also an option when the owner wants both the interior and exterior of their cupboard doors to be colour-changed, or when new soft-close hinges or different sized handles are to be installed.

Before and After: This Oxenford kitchen was refaced with new white laminate doors and the benchtops were replaced in Laminex ‘Carrara Marble’ finish. Splashbacks were retiled and new appliances added for a budget-friendly new look.

Kitchen Remodelling
While most of our clients are happy with the layout of their kitchen, sometimes alterations are needed to improve the functionality of the kitchen or to accommodate new appliances and sinks. In many kitchen renovations Gold Coast home owners ask us to convert the monstrous hole left by an old-fashioned oven into a space for a new oven and a microwave. We are also commonly asked to add new cupboard units or to convert cabinets into pot drawers to improve on storage space. Of course, if the kitchen carcass units have passed their used-by date or a more functional layout is desired, we can design an entirely new kitchen to suit the owners needs and lifestyle.

Before and After: This Surfers Paradise kitchen had its doors and drawer fronts replaced with new 2pac Hampton-style ones, a new over-fridge shelf constructed to replace the wine rack and two additional drawer units added to the island for extra storage. A new larger glistening stone benchtop with turned supports and tiled splashback completes this beautiful makeover.

Kitchen Benchtops

Before and After: In this Gold Coast kitchen renovation the benchtop and splashback were replaced in black engineered stone, adding sleek contrast and more drama to this modern white kitchen.

Kitchen Splashbacks

Before and After: The owner of this Southport kitchen wanted a splashback that would express his uniquely flamboyant style. In addition to cabinet alterations, we were able to add a toughened glass splashback, featuring a repeat of the exotic pattern in his wallpaper.
