Wood & White Coombabah Renovation

Refinishing Kitchen Cabinet Doors

When the owners of this Coombabah townhouse decided it was time to sell, they were looking for a way to neaten up their kitchen and bathroom for prospective buyers without having to pay out a premium price.   Although the outer surfaces of these rooms were starting to show their age, the bones were still in good enough condition for us to provide a simple facelift.  Doors, drawer fronts and fixed panels were removed from the kitchen and new ones manufactured in a satin white finish.  The benchtop was replaced with a snowy white new Laminex countertop and the splashback revived with sparkling gloss white tiles.  Paired with the warm wooden flooring, this kitchen has transformed into a clean and inviting space for a potential new owner.

The bathroom tiles were very well-adhered with no cracks so resurfacing was a fabulous option.  By resurfacing the wall tiles and tiling over the top of the existing floor tiles we were able to save the client considerably compared to the cost of a complete bathroom rebuild.  A new showerscreen, toilet, vanity, mirror and hardware were installed to complete the transformation.  Super simple, yet an effective and neutral update designed to appeal to buyers without overcapitalising.
