Beachfront Unit Kitchen Refurbishment

The kitchen refurbishment for this Gold Coast beachfront unit was designed to modernise the apartment and make the most of the fantastic sea views from the kitchen.  A large pillar and high top bench that was enclosing the front of the kitchen was trimmed down to give a more open and airy feel to the unit.  The huge old-fashioned oven was swapped for a newer, smaller model, leaving a hole that was converted into a space for a microwave oven.  The outdated wooden handles and beading on the doors meant that they needed to be refaced rather than resurfaced. New doors in gloss white two pack were installed.  A curved stone benchtop was fitted in place of the old laminate one, and the splashback was retiled to match.
